Context / Scope:
The Vice President On-Premise reports into the SVP National Strategic Customer Growth and leads a team of 2 Directors and 9 Managers that interacts cross-functionally with other Diageo teams.
This position is responsible for driving business performance nationwide. This role is accountable for the strategy, planning and execution of on-premise specific programs & trade drivers against segment opportunities within Casinos, hotels, airlines and dining categories that support high-volume sales of Diageo brands across United States.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Build and Lead Diageo’s on-premise plan for US Spirits within Casinos, hotels, airlines, dining to deliver annual dNSV, new distribution, permanent menus and share goals
Lead the category evaluation of business opportunities/gaps and category management strategies leveraging data insights and analytics
Ensure National Strategy & Segmentation Adherence
Drive innovative thinking to develop and implement Menu & Serve strategy and implementation for all national accounts
Transforms insights into actions based on data from agencies such as, but not limited to, Technomic, CGA Nielsen, etc. and insights from distributors
Develop and scale on-premise specific shopper programs across accounts
Ensure that investments are consistent with brand strategy, national objectives and commercial needs.
Manage A&P spend provides appropriate investment to deliver channel plan and achieve consumer goals for brands
Ensure measurement and tracking of critical business indicators and predictors of performance
Consistent review of Return on Investment and adjustments made accordingly

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Graduate/MBA preferred
15+ years of commercial experience either within Diageo or similar beverage-alcohol company.
End-to-end commercial knowledge and end-to-end P&L experience
Direct on-premise/customer experience preferred
Experience working across a diverse beverage alcohol distributor network preferred
Distributor experience/management a plus
