Description:

• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure the accuracy of test products

• Lead the execution of component, unit, and system test cases based on customer requirements

• Create focused testing plans, strategies, procedures, and reports.

• Conduct testing on various SATCOM systems and associated components

• Contribute to technical documentation to include system design and integration documents

• Analyze current technologies within the company and develop steps and processes to enhance testing procedures and techniques.

• Configure power meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to support SATCOM testing.

• Define and implement automation processes to ensure accuracy and repeatability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in operating and configuring RF test instrumentation for complex unit and system tests.

• Skilled in automating complex tests using software:

• Experience using Python and associated packages (Pandas, PySNMP, PyVISA, and SCPI)

-Experience with power meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to support SATCOM testing.

• Experienced in developing test plans, procedures, and reports.

• Competent in reviewing system design documents.

• Capable of establishing test environments and tracking system/subsystem issues.

• Familiarity with computers and networking.

-Candidates must be eligible for a US Government Secret Clearance

Work Environment

100% on-site role at APG in a testing lab.
