Description

We are searching for a diligent Controller to join our team near Bel Air, MD. As a Controller, you will be entrusted with the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. You will also be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, which includes areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.

• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to accounting staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Supervisory management skills to manage accounting functions and daily cash management.

• Prepare Financial Statement and oversee Accounting operations and General Ledger.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Accounting

• Must have advanced skills in excel working with pivot tables and vlookups

• Proven experience in supervisory management is essential

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Ability to manage daily cash and budgeting operations effectively

• Demonstrated skills in Financial Statement Preparation

• Extensive knowledge of Accounting operations and General Ledger is necessary

• Must have experience in managing all accounting functions

• Experience in overseeing and directing budgeting processes is desirable

• A track record in daily cash management is required

• Must have demonstrated ability in financial statement preparation and reporting

• Proficiency in managing general ledger and other accounting operations is crucial.
