POSITION SUMMARY

Overall responsible for the daily water production and distribution. Ensure the bottling room is clean and disinfected all the time. Coordinate with the contractor for all maintenance and chemical refill. Maintain the inventory of all elements of the water bottling room including machines, water produced, labels and glass bottles. Coordinate with other departments for the accurate and required distribution of water produced. Ensure all the documentations are accurate and updated all the time. Fill the bottles as per the set standard, fix the cap, paste the sealing sticker with production and expiry sticker. Ensure the departmental consumption, production and expiry date, trolley number are recorded in the log. Safely operate bottle wash machine and water dispenser. Maintain highest standard of personal hygiene. Should possess an EFST (Essential Food Safety Certificate) to work as a food handler. All breakage has to be reported on time and record to be maintained in the concerned area. Report any deviations to the standard to the immediate supervisor.

Use the right tools and equipment for the job, and operate equipment in a way that will not be hazardous to you or the employees. Do not engage in any prank or unnecessary running or boisterous conduct. Follow all established safe work practice; do not take any unnecessary chances. Properly use and care for all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required and provided. Prevent slips and falls. Watch for spills or loose objects on floors. Clean up spills immediately and use wet floor signs. Do not allow cords to extend across doorways, aisles or other walkways. Use the handrail while ascending or descending stairs. Lift properly, keep your back straight, and then squat down to reach the object being lifted. Do not twist your body when lifting. Shift your feet to turn, if necessary. Do not attempt to lift exceptionally heavy objects by yourself. Ask for help. Always follow good housekeeping practices. D not leave tools or equipment in hallways; keep your work area clean and organized. Actively attend and participate in all health and safety training conducted by Hotel. Discuss any questions or concerns regarding your safety with your supervisor. Cooperate with The Ritz-Carlton with respect to any instructions and actions by The Ritz-Carlton to protect the employee and to comply with OSH requirements. Take responsible care of the health and safety of persons that may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
