Purpose:Assists in the administration of the district’s activities and athletic events.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for managing finances of activity funds

  • Responsible for managing purchasing for the activity funds

  • Responsible for general office duties:

  • Type and send all correspondence required by the Activities Director or their designee

  • Order supplies for activities

  • Manage all district facility use schedules

  • Transporation schedule for monthly activities is prepared & filed with the Director of Transportation according to the established timeline

  • Coordinating programs and rosters for home events

  • Manage ticket takers and concession works for all events

  • Manage, prepare, and print all certificates and awards for each season

  • Manage the production, sale and distribution of activity tickets for the district

  • Manage outdoor electronic sign

  • Send out weekly reminders and activity calendars to staff

  • Manage and monitor district volunteers and volunteer programs

  • RSchool management

  • Manage district social media for activities and events

  • Manage the organization of physicals, concussion forms, and any other paperwork required to participate in activities

  • Assists staff as deemed necessary

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • Proficiency in using technology and social media

  • Background knowledge in accounting

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills to help solve and address problems

  • Ability to work independently and without instruction

  • Possess positive telephone etiquette and public relations skills

  • Interest and understanding of activities/athletics
