The Toro Company Credit Officer in Adelaide, Australia

Toro Australia is seeking a dynamic professional to join our Finance team. In this role, you will ensure optimal debtor levels, minimize bad debts, and play a crucial part in our ongoing profitability and success.

What will you do?

  • Optimum debtor control of an allocated section of the debtors ledger.

  • Following up with debtors for payments under purchase or finance agreements and/or prevailing credit conditions.

  • Maintenance of credit limits ensuring procedures are followed and risk is minimised.

  • Reconciling and allocating cash on accounts as needed.

  • Expediting resolution of customers’ claims and disputes by effective communication with the relevant customers and Toro employees.

  • Processing of deviations to normal term applications for these accounts in a timely and accurate manner.

What do you need?

  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable role

  • Knowledge of debt collection techniques

  • Experience in SAP

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are essential

  • Professional and friendly phone manner

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Experience in Microsoft applications, Word and Excel are needed

  • A flexible attitude to the position and its demands are required which includes overtime when required
