Job Description

An employer is looking for an I&C Electrical Engineer to join their team at the Savannah River Site in Savannah, GA in support of their DOE efforts. This positions pays from $100,000-$160,000 depending on experience and certifications. The successful candidate would be responsible for troubleshooting the facilities and systems used to help DOD store and treat environmental waste. They will be responsible for the following:

 Support waste facilities at the Savannah River Site.

 Assess system health of multiple facilities, prepare/review design changes, determine replacements for obsolete parts, controls and systems, troubleshoot system equipment and controls, review work packages, and support/resolve installation technical issues.

 Assist other system engineers (mechanical and chemical) to determine replacements for obsolete systems and parts, and troubleshoot system equipment.

 Work will be in person (no remote).

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

Must have experience with instrumentation and controls within a DOE or other industrial facilities. ie pumps, valves, scada, meters, etc.

Must have experience within wastewater plants, refineries, chemical plants, etc. DOE experience
