*JOB SUMMARY: * This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water meters, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. We focus on empowering local communities and value diverse perspectives.

• Installing new water meters and replacing old meters according to specifications and safety standards.
• Conducting tests to ensure meters are functioning properly and accurately.
• Reading and interpreting utility maps and plans to locate and verify water meter installations.
• Maintaining and repairing water meters and associated equipment, identifying and resolving any issues.
• Documenting installation and repair activities, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Providing customer service, including explaining meter operations to residents and handling inquiries.
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

• Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job performance and knowledge.

   

   

Functional Expertise:

• Possession of mechanical and plumbing knowledge or background, beneficial for effective performance in water meter installation, maintenance, and repair tasks Experience in developing testing strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.

Business Acumen:

• Understanding the impact of work on customer satisfaction and company operations.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and complete tasks within assigned deadlines.
