Responsibilities You will provide input to the maintenance concept; recommend or evaluate required operational capabilities and practical design modifications. You will serve as a technical expert on equipment and serve on fielding teams. You will prepare the initial issue spares funding documentation and provides updates throughout the life cycle of programs. You will serve as focal point to equipment operators and maintainers on technical questions regarding supply support, operating and maintaining the equipment. You will load the provisioning data to automated systems to be integrated into other legacy applications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of General experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: Experience that provided a knowledge of the characteristics, uses, and properties of equipment. This experience may have been gained in trades or crafts, engineering technician, production control, inspection, or other work related to the specialization of the position to be filled. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education To qualify via Education: Undergraduate Education: Major study -- any field of study in an accredited college or university. Graduate Education: Major study -- fields related to the position to be filled. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
