Description

We are offering a role in Albany, New York, for an individual skilled in various aspects of accounting. As an Accounting Clerk, the successful candidate will be involved in various functions such as account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency in the company's financial records

• Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) duties to manage the company's financial transactions

• Overseeing billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing to customers

• Performing data entry tasks to input financial information into the company's database

• Utilizing various software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to efficiently carry out tasks

• Processing invoices to ensure payments are made to suppliers in a timely manner

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for auditing purposes

• Resolving financial discrepancies and answering queries related to AP and AR

• Collaborating with other team members to achieve overall financial objectives.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing processes

• Excellent Data Entry skills

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar is preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications in Accounting are a plus.
