Description
As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will provide support for a variety of Human Resources administrative functions, with a primary focus on providing support to benefits-related functions, ensuring regulatory compliance in all aspects of work. You'll report to the Director of Human Resources and will work onsite at our Albany location. This role could be part-time or full-time!
Responsibilities:
Ensure that human resources files and employment records are accurate, organized and up-to-date, as well as filed and maintained in accordance with legal requirements and NRFS policies and procedures.
Work with program leadership to create and update job descriptions.
Assist with planning and managing all aspects of the Annual Benefits Enrollment process.
Assist with the planning and managing of all Benefit communications, such as creating and updating annual benefit brochures and maintaining the benefits information accessible to all employees.
Develop and streamline processes to reduce manual intervention and maximize efficiency.
Manage the benefits enrollment process. Update and confirm plans and rates and ensure benefits admin system(s) accurately reflect plan information.
Partner with Onboarding throughout the recruiting and onboarding processes, including interviewing, creation of onboarding guides, and first day set up for volunteers and interns in the agency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Education:
Minimum of High School Diploma with at least four years of experience or; Associates degree with at least two years of experience.
Ability to communicate with staff and vendors on sensitive topics.
Ability to manage detail and deliver and maintain data accuracy.
Provide deliverables and overcome obstacles while meeting deadlines.
Provide a level of work focus for service delivery with varied interruptions due to employee need.
Team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with staff in a team-oriented environment.
Prioritize among competing needs and respond quickly to requests for information.
Meets guidelines for confidentiality for sensitive employee matters.
