New York State Senate Office Assistant in ALBANY, New York
The New York State Senate Production Services team is seeking customer service-oriented candidates with strong phone skills to serve as an Office Assistant.The Office Assistant supports data/order entry and print shop staff to produce materials for Senate offices to use and distribute throughout the year.The most qualified candidates will possess:A high school degree or equivalentExperience in filing and data entryThe ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently in a busy office setting with a kind and calm demeanor. This is an entry-level position. Previous administrative support experience is a plus.This is a full-time position, 9.00AM to 5.00PM Monday through Friday -- 35 hours per week -- located in Albany, NY.The starting salary is $34,000 to $36,000 annually, commensurate with experience.Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to jobs@nysenate.gov.
