Child Care Business Specialist
The Specialist is the main contact for families seeking childcare (referrals), providing Technical Assistance to licensed and registered providers requesting information and facilitating legally exempt enrollments. This role is key to the effectiveness of the program and involves both office work (80%) and being out in the field: providing Intensive Technical Assistance, attending meetings. participating in trainings and completing inspections (20%). Much of the work is performed by computer software and telephone. Good customer service and computer proficiency is necessary. In addition, there will be a responsibility for assisting in carrying out the core functions and working cooperatively with CCR&R, agency and community partner staff to best meet the needs of the parents, providers and community.
