Lawn Rangers is in need of an Assistant Controller.
Job Description
This position will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial information, including job costing activities for our landscape maintenance and installation operations.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee and process daily accounting operations including cash transactions'/reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer services.
Assist with weekly payroll processing and human resource functions
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist in preparing financial reports
Perform monthly financial analysis to identify trends and variances.
Annual tax return preparation
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal government reporting requirements
Job Requirements
Proven work experience as an Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role
Working for a Landscape contractor is a plus
Proficient with accounting/job costing systems (QuickBooks Online, Sage, etc.)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel
