$40K-45K per year to start depending on experience, full-time.
Responsible for scheduling, supervising, training, and developing the Audit Team while protecting company assets.
Adheres to and enforces all government regulations as well as established department and company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Excels at guest and team member support and customer service while promoting a positive and professional atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for efficient and professional operation of the Audit Team. Delegates audit duties and assigns those responsibilities as needed. Works with the Controller to establish policies and procedures. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Audit Team Safeguards company assets Attends periodic meetings and training sessions Reconcile revenue/cost center paperwork to ensure that proper controls are in place Reviews new or changed policies to verify compliance with regulations and internal controls Performs/directs the verification of daily drop records to ensure accuracy and completion Evaluates documents to determine any deficiencies and errors Performs/directs daily audit - verifies documents and data to ensure proper reporting on all forms Tracks and manages timely corrections required by the various areas Verifies documents and information are in order and prepared for external audits Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws as well as all regulations and internal controls Prepare and execute scheduled audits including planning, preparation, execution, reporting and follow-up Demonstrate high standards of conduct and ethics as well as the ability to use appropriate judgment and discretion Coordinate and conduct special audits, investigations, and/or ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision and direction Create, revise and document Audit and Internal Audit policies and procedures
Qualifications Ability to make decisions, formulate and communicate ideas, read, write and understand spreadsheets Must have an excellent math skills At least one (1) year related experience with audit processes, preferably with tax or state auditor experience Minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain appropriate licenses
Walk-in interviews are Monday-Friday 9am-11am or 1pm-3pm
