BlueHalo, LLC Product Manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Overview
In a galaxy not so far away, BlueHalo is seeking a Jedi Master, also known as a Product Manager,to join our interstellar team. This isn't your typical 9-5 job; it's a chance to play a pivotal role in ourdirected energy and tracking program, where you'll be wielding the power of lasers and advancedtechnology instead of lightsabers.
You’d like to do this
Balances the Force of the business' capabilities and values with the wants and needs of the customer, defining the strategy behind and creation of products. Think of it as bringing balance to the Force.
Establishes the long-term vision for the product that fulfills this strategy, much like a Jedi Master foreseeing the future.
Has a deep understanding of the product, its goals, its market, and the customer needs that it fulfills. Conducts research into customer's needs and missions, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors, just like a Jedi uses the Force to understand the universe.
Supports product maturation through configuration management, akin to a Jedi Knight honing their lightsaber skills.
Supports the production development and milestone management, much like how Yoda guided younglings in their training.
Builds and reinforces customer feedback loops through a variety of mechanisms to ensure that product engineering team continuously receives up-to-date information on customer interaction with the product, similar to how the Rebel Alliance used intelligence to stay ahead of the Empire.
Envisions and develops new product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product design that reflect market and user requirements, much like how the Rebels envisioned a galaxy free from the Empire.
Participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle to act as the voice of the customer, including analysis, design, testing, integration, and delivery of products. This is the way.
Develops sales forecasts and implements pricing schedules that provide revenue and margins growth while remaining competitive in the market, akin to how Lando Calrissian would negotiate the best deals in Cloud City.
You’re required to have this
Preferred Skills:
Active DoD security clearance: Think of it as your Jedi clearance to classified information.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus: We're looking for the Yoda of product management - wise and educated.
Proven experience in product management, particularly in a manufacturing or aerospace setting: If you've navigated the asteroid field of product management before, we want you!
Counter UAS industry experience is a plus: Ever shot down a TIE fighter (or a UAV)? Even better!
