Are you looking to join an industry-leading sales organization? Our Federal Field Sales team works within the Federal government markets to address and solve complex risk problems. At LexisNexis Risk Solutions, we pride ourselves in providing solutions that directly impact our customers' ability to mitigate and manage risk.

About the Job:

The Director position exists to provide leadership and direction to a team of multi-layered sales professionals. At the same time, they will strategically position LexisNexis Risk Solutions to meet company objectives by increasing new sales revenue and growing base business through retention and further market penetration. Directors are responsible for providing effective leadership for their teams and develop and implement effective strategic account business plans of a regional or national scope.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Achieving revenue targets through effective sales strategies. Developing and implementing account plan strategies to maximize revenue growth.

  • Working closely with market planners/leaders to coordinate strategy in respective area(s). Facilitating activities between clients, sales organization, market planning, customer operations and executives to complete strategic selling process.

  • Developing high value relationships at the CXO level with customer. Demonstrating market expertise and understanding of customer's organization to drive customer decisions toward company's solutions and products.

  • Leading a team of sales professionals to ensure team revenue goals are achieved. Management responsibilities include hiring, coaching, developing, managing assigned business.

  • Managing sales activities, gives direction and holds team members accountable for producing results. Thorough understanding of the BOSS methodology with the ability to coach to it.

  • Providing accurate sales forecasts, conducting Quarterly Business reviews, and efficiently conducting expense management.

  • Managing internal and external relationships to achieve business goals. Championing interests of team with internal stakeholders to secure appropriate levels of support to serve customers.

Qualifications:

  • Have Bachelor's or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years demonstrated successful, individual sales experience in solutions-oriented sales environments.

  • 5+ years selling into the Government Market

  • 3+ years prior sales management experience. Including mentoring, coaching and managing performance of a team.

  • Possess effective sales forecasting and solid negotiation skills.

  • Have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively network both internally & externally.

  • Proven ability to sell complex products to new customers and prospects. Including, but not limited to: LexisNexis Identity Management Suite, Master Person Index, AmplifyID, Identity Risk Navigator, Accuity BEC, and LexisNexis Provider Suite of Solutions.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications with particular strength using MS Excel, SalesForce, PowerBI, Workboard, and Workday.

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
