Medical Assistant

One of the DMV area's top healthcare systems is currently hiring for a Medical Assistant in one of their outpatient clinics!

Job Description:

• The Medical Assistant will be working within an outpatient Family Medicine Practice.

• The associate will be responsible for triaging, rooming patients, and taking patient vital signs.

• Will occasionally scribe for the provider and assist the provider as required.

• Will obtain prior authorizations.

• Provide a high level of customer service to patients and family members.

• Must have an MA diploma or Certification + up to date BLS certification.

• This is a full-time contract to potential hire job opportunity with benefits.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification is REQUIRED

• 1-2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.

• Must be comfortable working within a fast paced environment with a high volume of patients.
