As a Food Service Assistant, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of food services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting in Meal Preparation: You’ll help with tasks like chopping vegetables, making salads, and assembling entrees. Maintaining Cleanliness: This includes keeping the kitchen area clean, sanitizing equipment, and handling dishwashing. Inventory Control: Receive and stock food supplies as needed. Stocking and Organization: Ensure food and beverage areas are well-stocked and organized. Serving Customers: Deliver food and beverage orders promptly. Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to regulations for food safety and hygiene. Setup and Cleanup: Assist with preparing and cleaning dining areas. Customer Service: Provide excellent service and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience: Ideally, you have experience in food service or a related field.

• Kitchen Skills: Ability to follow instructions and safely operate kitchen equipment.

• Hygiene Knowledge: Understand hygiene and food safety rules.

• Physical Stamina: The job involves standing, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.

While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, your experience and skills matter most!
