CenterLight Health System RECRUITER in Allerton, New York

JOB PURPOSE:

The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment; recruiting, screening candidates for appropriateness, and recommending placement of CenterLight Healthcare System staff (Clinical and Non-Clinical) by using creative and innovative sourcing methods (internal and external) as well as follow-up with hired candidates to ensure they have everything they need to begin a successful employment with CenterLight Health Systems. Will develop new strategies and programs to attract candidates. Manage a well-developed group of quality vendors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop strategies to target and recruit a candidate pool using a variety of tools and techniques, including, but not limited to, third-party job boards, industry events, job fairs, electronic media, networking with college and university alumni departments, etc.

  • Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process from creating job advertisements; qualifying candidates to position requirements for current and future opportunities; candidate assessment and present qualified candidates with overall assessments and hire recommendations (prescreening to identify “fit” and aptitude), and scheduling candidates for pre-employment clearance, ensuring computer access and ordering necessary equipment for new employees.

  • Design, build and implement innovative recruitment programs.

  • Act as an ambassador of CenterLight Healthcare, demonstrating and articulating CenterLight Healthcare employee values, culture, work environment, business strategies, benefits, and other areas of interest to a candidate as necessary

  • Identify strategic sources for talent and measure the results of each source.

  • Build a recruitment process aligned with overall business goals.

  • Recruits qualified applicants for non-exempt and exempt managerial positions.

  • Maintains and tracks daily and monthly applicant tracking and position control reports.

  • Provide timely and accurate updates on recruitment efforts to the Recruitment team, Senior Recruiter, and hiring manager. Assist managers with scheduling interviews, making job offers, sending offer letters, and the initial onboarding process.

  • Collaborate in a recruitment business process aligned with overall business goals. This includes compliance with DOH, CMS, etc. Work with other areas of HR (Records, Medical, agencies, etc.) to ensure candidate’s offer, onboarding paperwork, pre-employment process, references, physicals, drug screening, fingerprinting, clearances, etc. satisfy all compliance aspects.

  • Participates in the New Hire Orientation and special projects as needed.

  • Participates as a team player in all areas of Human Resources; Writes, reviews, and places recruitment advertisements for all CenterLight Healthcare sites and positions.

  • General understanding of all Human Resource Department aspects, including benefits, leave of absence, off-boarding, etc.

  • Ability to analyze hiring statistics to include retention, time studies, etc

  • Maintains knowledge of changing labor laws as it pertains to hiring practices

  • Excellent customer service to all consumers, internal and external

Schedule: 8:30AM - 5:30PM

Weekly Hours: 40

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field

Experience:

  • Progressively responsible human resources experience.

Other:

  • Motivated, energetic, excellent organization and communication skills; conscientious attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks; strong commitment to working as a team player.

  • Demonstrate ability to work in a confidential environment.

  • Strong writing skills, excellent grammar and proofreading skills, computer skills; PC proficiency with Windows applications; Excellent typing ability with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.

  • Highly collaborative work style.

  • Proficient in internet research, multimedia skills, web management tools, and HTML.

  • Available to travel a minimum of 40% of business time to Job Fairs or PACE Sites to perform interviews, within the New York metro area.

Physical Requirements

Individuals must be able to sustain specific physical requirements essential to the job. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Standing – duration of up to 6 hours a day

  • Sitting/Stationary positions – sedentary position for a duration of up to 6-8 hours a day for consecutive hours/periods.

  • Lifting/Push/Pull – up to 50 pounds of equipment, baggage, supplies, and other items used in the job scope using OSHA guidelines, etc.

  • Bending/Squatting – have to be able to safely bend or squat to perform the essential functions under the scope of the job.

  • Stairs/Steps/Walking/Climbing – must be able to maneuver stairs safely, climb up/down and walk to access work areas.

  • Agility/Fine Motor Skills - Must demonstrate agility and fine motor skills to operate and activate equipment, devices, instruments, and tools to complete essential job functions (i.e., typing, use of supplies, equipment, etc.)

  • Sight/Visual Requirements – must be able to read documentation, papers, orders, signs, etc., and accurately type/write documentation, etc.

  • Audio Hearing and Motor Skills (language) Requirements – must be able to listen attentively and document information from patients, community members, co-workers, clients, providers, etc., and intake information through audio processing with accuracy. In addition, one must be able to speak comfortably and clearly with language and motor skills for customers to understand an individual.

  • Cognitive Ability – Must be able to demonstrate good decision-making, reasonableness, cognitive ability, rational processing, and analysis to satisfy essential functions of the job.

Salary Range (Min-Max):$55,000.00 - $62,000.00
