We are currently hiring in our molding department. Employees are brought on board at a trainee level and gain experience toward becoming an assistant and then a machine operator. POSITION SUMMARY Gains knowledge and experience by assisting in the operation of a rotational molding machine, producing plastic components conforming to customer and company specifications ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

``` - - Performs all functions under the guidance of the Machine Operator, Team Lead, or Molding Supervisor

``` - - Checks mold setup and quality procedures thoroughly to confirm operating parameters; follows all operating procedures, paying attention to details

``` - - Ensures use of correct raw materials for production run

``` - - Operates scale and weighs raw materials, ensuring that correct amounts are used

``` - - Cleans, inspects, and checks accuracy of scales daily

``` - - Assists machine operators in all aspects of molding process to produce parts within specifications

``` - - Removes finished parts from molds, safeguarding the integrity of the completed part

``` - - Performs visual inspection of each finished component

```{=html}

``` - - Uses scale, go/no go gauges to inspect parts per quality procedures to ensure conformance

``` - - Controls scrap and waste to the best of his/her ability

``` - - Develops and maintains positive working relationships with coworkers

``` - - Upholds processes in line with the company's world class vision and strategic goals

``` - - Follows company policies, safety standards, quality standards, and SOPs

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

- - High school diploma or equivalent preferred

``` - - Competency in basic math including decimals and fractions required

``` - - Basic computer skills required

```{=html}

``` - - Entry level experience in plastics manufacturing preferred; Knowledge of manufacturing environment/processes

``` - - Competency using basic measurement tools such as weight scales and go/no go gauges preferred

``` - Experience with ISO9001:2008 compliance preferred
