Are you unemployed, age 55 or older, have an annual income at or below $18,225 for a single person, and looking for on-the-job experience and the opportunity to re-enter the workforce? The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) may be for you. SCSEP is a work-based job training program for older adults with a goal to assist in improving or developing job skills for employment. The SCSEP has training opportunities in Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, and Montmorency counties.
Eligible applicants train up to 20 hours per week and receive the current minimum wage.
