About our Team

The Enterprise Data Intelligence team lives within technology risk organization in the Business Systems Vertical. The team is responsible for all the data across the Risk organization. It is a fast past team that likes to challenge the status quo and innovate.

About the Role

This leadership position is responsible for creating, directing and implementing strategic and tactical plans for RSG’s Enterprise Data Intelligence team. You will manage a global organization, focused on providing a world-class data intelligence. You will provide the business with actionable insights through powerful data analytics and advanced visualizations. You will maintain an appropriate balance between future business vision and the successful operation within the Risk Solutions business.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing technology plans for the department to achieve the Company’s strategic objectives. Monitoring changes in the Company’s strategic/operating plans and modifying technology plans as appropriate.

  • Developing efficient work processes and procedures. Implementing measurement and tracking systems that are aligned with LNRS objectives. Monitoring Cloud financials, ensuring costs are minimized.

  • Partnering with business stakeholders to understand how they are using the platform. Ensuring the platform meets ongoing business needs. Identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction through platform enhancements.

  • Establishing operational objectives and assignments for department and drive operational efficiencies. Understanding and encouraging agile/scrum methodology.

  • Fostering growth of team members through ongoing training and learning opportunities. Hiring, training, retaining, and managing team members.

  • Developing consistent, proactive measures and practices to identify and resolve root cause problems/issues.

  • Monitoring and assessing industry/technology advancements and alliances. Finding ways to leverage existing capabilities and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Possess a passion for transforming, delivering, and managing value orientated data services.

  • Demonstrate a drive to deliver value by solving both business and technical problems. Able to effectively work with key business stakeholders at all levels to prioritize projects across all levels of the company.

  • Show excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills with both business and technology stakeholders. Possess a desire to coach, inspire and empower individuals and teams to high levels of autonomy and performance. Proven leadership and people management capability.

  • Have a proven track record in a variety of data engineering roles. Experience with data warehouse and reporting implementation strategy.

  • Demonstrate leadership, planning and innovation acumen. Demonstrate advanced project management experience, driving complex transformational initiatives.

  • Be comfortable operating in a service-oriented position, with a high level of change requiring a responsiveness to customer needs.

  • Possess an ability to evaluate emerging technologies that could enhance the platform.

  • Possess excellent communication skills. Able to effectively present ideas, programs, and technical information to all levels in the organization.
