Kelly Services Lab Technician II in Alpharetta, Georgia
Kelly is hiring a Lab Technician II for one of our medical device clients in Milton, GA
Shift: 1 st shift 8am-5pm M-F
Onsite
Temp to perm
Pay: $27/hr
Job Responsibilities
Perform materials and product testing per established protocols
Perform materials and product inspections per defined specifications
Specimen preparation including cutting and conditioning
Certified to operate and maintain all lab equipment
Maintain safe laboratory environment
Maintain lab organization utilizing 5S methodology
Communicate test and inspection results with internal clients (RD&E personnel)
Function within all quality systems and regulations, particularly related to medical devices
Willingness to support additional tasks supporting the Maker Space (Design Engineers) that may be out of daily lab operation
Adhere to GLP
Qualifications
Minimum
Associates Degree in technical field (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation) or H.S. Diploma
Works under general supervision on assigned tasks or portions of projects
Experience working with mechanical testing equipment-Instron / Thwing Albert.
Experience working with customers and cross-functional teams
Experienced with small inspection equipment, calipers, micrometer, timers, temp measurements, ETC.
Background in lab testing
MS Office
Preferred
Bachelors degree in technical field (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation) prefer 3 plus years’ experience
3 years Experience in a technical role supporting lab practices
Self-starter and ability to work independently
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to learn; comfortable learning and working on projects that may be in unfamiliar areas.
