My client, a reputable healthcare company, is hiring for a Hybrid Medical Collections Representative!

Job Description:

• The billing model is different depending on how they contract with those employers ("tenants") - in some cases, tenant may be invoiced for all charges related to employees care OR advised to bill patients' health insurance in full OR a hybrid model (part to employer/part to insurance and patient).

• This team will be responsible for looking at fee schedules for a given client & comparing that to what's been billed to the insurance company before comparing it against the EOB to ensure the insurance was billed properly & the claim was processed properly.

• They will identify, based on the outstanding balance, what portion may be the responsibility of insurance or patient.

• They will determine if the patient has made any payments & validate that they were accounted for towards that balance.

• They work with Provider Relations Reps versus calling payers directly to reprocess claims, so they will discuss the denials in bulk (i.e. 100 accounts).

• A lot of the processes are manual (no EMR), but they will be accessing payer portals.

• One person will float to support Fusion Sleep's billing as they are down a person. This person will report to Karla, but flex to help with their billing as well.

Qualifications to Apply:

• Knowledge and experience with payer portals.

• Experience working with clearinghouses.

• Submitting claims.

• HMOs and government payers.
