Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

About the Role

Provides support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources Department. Processes a variety of complex confidential information including, but not limited to employment, pay changes, and job postings. Compiles statistics and prepares complex reports for management use. Assists with administration of job posting system and internal employee transfers. Assists with health and safety risk assessments and training projects within the confines of the Human Resource department. Maintains accuracy of plant and office job titles in system by updating corresponding data.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Assumes responsibility for employee recruitment, hiring, and staffing at all levels.

  2. Administer drug screen authorizations, background checks, and entering data into HRIS platforms.

  3. Coordinates job postings at all levels.

  4. Processes verification of employment paperwork.

  5. Responsible for administrative functions including benefits, payroll, personnel files etc.

  6. Accountable for managing personnel records, updating systems work, and inputting administrative data.

  7. Coordinates administration of unemployment benefits.

  8. Assists in planning and implementation of company employee relations programs and activities.

  9. During Dayforce payroll system implementation, will be responsible for system auditing, data management and policy alignment. Will be the primary liaison with the payroll shared service center.

  10. Responsible for supporting our Health and Safety continuous training initiatives.

Who we are looking for

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of human resource experience; or equivalent.

  2. Demonstrated organizational skills to prioritize programs and projects and deal with different tasks independently at one time.

  3. Experience in recruiting and training for employee engagement preferred.

  4. HRIS Systems: Workday/Ceridian/ADP/SuccessFactors knowledge, preferred.

  1. Proficient with Microsoft applications and other computerized application software.

  3. Proven broad understanding of human resources and health and safety principles, practices, and procedures.
