Your mission will be…

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to become part of our Siemens Financial Services Information Technology (SFS IT) Data Management team.

You will have a pivotal role in the moderation of all aspects related to release management of our Data Platform, liaising between the different stakeholders that range from senior management to our citizen developer community.

Through your strong communication & presentation skills, coupled with your solid technical background and critical thinking, you’re able to connect technical topics to a non-technical/management quorum, leading the topics under your responsibility towards a positive outcome based on your natural constructive approach.

We are looking for someone with…

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar area of knowledge

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Release Manager role

• Concrete experience on Cloud and/or Integration architect in at least 3 projects

• Strong technical background, with proven track record, that allows you to confidently speak up about:

o Azure Cloud tech stack (Azure Portal, Logic Apps, Synapse, Blob Containers, Kafka, Clusters and Streaming)

o Azure DevOps CI/CD and Terraform deployments

o Github and Gitlab, including Git Bash

o Azure DevOps project setup optimization

o Reading YAML code for Azure DevOps pipeline and error handling

o SQL DDL and DML statements ideally in Snowflake

o Experience on Datawarehouse Automation tools and deployment processes (e.g., Data Vault Builder)

• Excellent Communication skills that allow you to:

o Lead topics across multiple stakeholders from different units in our Organization (IT and Business)

o Actively listen to issues and problems faced by technical and non-technical members

o Produce outstanding technical articles for documentation purposes

o Communicate through logical diagrams and presentation slides for formal and informal reporting

o Speak up in difficult situations, including to Senior Management, advising on technical solutions to a problem, removing blockers on the spot
