Providence Transitional Care in Anchorage, AK is hiring compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to care for our elderly patients.
$2,500 hiring bonuses are available to every qualified, external candidate who meets all qualifications.
About the role:
The Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic routine nursing duties/tasks which do not require professional training and education. These duties/tasks center around the resident by assisting them in all activities of daily living. The CNA performs under the supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) at all times.
We are looking for Full time, Part time, and On-Call for all shifts (Day, Evening, Night, Variable)

Required qualifications:
Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualification:
- 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care-giver.

Providence Transitional Care is a 50-bed post-acute care facility focused on rehabilitating patients after operation and injury. We serve as a healing space between hospitalization and home, providing consistent therapeutic schedules to help our patients on their recovery journeys. Our caregivers are empowered by our technology – wound vac machines for dressing injuries, Kangaroo IV pumps for administering antibiotics and facilitating tube feedings, PICC line access to provide medication and more.

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
