As an IT Support Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technology operations within HDR. Your expertise will empower our internal customers to work efficiently and effectively, while your commitment to exceptional customer service will elevate their experience. Here are the key responsibilities:

  1. Technology Alignment: Apply your technical prowess to address business needs and overcome constraints. You'll be at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance productivity and drive results.
  2. User Empowerment: Assist staff in maximizing computing resources. Whether it's troubleshooting, training, or providing advanced support, your goal is to empower our teams to thrive in their roles.
  3. Enterprise Collaboration: Engage in enterprise-wide IT projects and initiatives. Your contributions will shape our technological landscape and foster innovation.
  4. Diagnostic Expertise: Diagnose system hardware, software, and operator issues. Your keen eye for problem-solving ensures smooth operations across our network.
  5. Advanced Troubleshooting: Tackle complex IT challenges head-on. Your ability to unravel intricate issues will keep our systems running seamlessly.
  6. Software Support: Provide expert assistance with software applications. From installation to optimization, you'll be the go-to resource.

  8. Resource Management: Request hardware and software as needed, ensuring our teams have the tools required for success.
  9. Hardware Support: Be the backbone of hardware support, including printers and other devices. Your reliability keeps our operations humming.
  10. Inventory Stewardship: Collaborate with the IT Support team to manage desktops, laptops, and printers. You'll also assist with software inventory.
  11. Local Coordination: Facilitate communication on technical support topics within our local office. Your proactive approach ensures everyone stays informed.
  12. Client-Centric Solutions: Understand client business needs and match them with effective technology solutions. Your insights drive impactful implementations.
  13. Team Synergy: Work closely with internal technology teams, contributing to essential IT infrastructure processes and procedures.
  14. Versatility: Be ready for other duties as needed. Your adaptability ensures our IT ecosystem remains robust.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Local Candidates: Preference will be given to local applicants.

*Software Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, and/or GIS is advantageous but not required.

*Possible Travel: Keep in mind that this position may involve travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support of PC, networks and servers
  • Exce lent working knowledge of personal computer and peripherals
  • Experience in systems operations and maintenance
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7/10/365 and Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
