Job Description
Associate Project Manager Purchasing Responsibilities include:
Entry level position supporting Senior Project Managers and Department Head in below activities. (not all inclusive)
release of purchased parts in support of eMotor / eMachine customer projects in the region
SE work with engineering and supply base
Achievement & monitoring of material costs against targets
Bring projects into production according to establish projects timing / Ramp-up Management
Interface between Purchasing organization and Business Unit
Plan and manage cost / release of tooling
Manage cost reduction and localization projects
Partner with Purchasing Quality organization to ensure APQP elements are properly planned and implemented
Manage Engineering Change process for purchased components
Insure material costs meet targets as defined by project
some portion of administrative tasks for group (Executive Assistant activities)
Qualifications

College Graduate - Various Disciplines Considered
SAP experience
Internal business -> Pref. Germany:US
2+ years Purchasing experience
Bosch PILUM systems experience (preferred but not mandatory)
