Bard College has an exciting opportunity to join our IT Information Systems team as a Technology Support Specialist, where you'll play a key role in optimizing our Banner ERP software solutions and enhancing Bard’s operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application enhancements
Conduct regular evaluations to ensure applications align with business goals and industry standards
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Leverage Bard’s technology stack to build new applications
Perform detailed system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or work experience equivalent
Experience in higher education preferred
Experience with:
Ellucian Banner products
Ellucian Experience, Insights Reporting, Data Connect, Ethos
Knowledge of Banner API’s
RDBMS Oracle, Postgres
SQL, PS/SQL
Evisions Argos, Forms Fusion
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office or Google equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000; full-time, exempt position
This salary range reflects the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for the position at the time of the job posting. Salary decisions are dependent on several factors including but not limited to market and organizational considerations, experience, and qualifications of a selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
