Lockheed Martin Cloud Engineer in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Description: WHAT WE'RE DOING

- Preparing existing and future products to better utilize cloud technologies

- Contributing to AWS buildout initiatives

- Driving innovation and integrity in cloud technology projects

THE WORK

In this role you will: - Continuously contribute to the creation of design solutions that address complex engineering problems across the full software cycle.

- Develop operational scenarios, based on the customer’s goals and contractual requirements.

- Develop system requirements and architectures to ensure customer needs and contracts are appropriately translated into the products development cycle.

- Incrementally develop the product design and delivery optimization requirements.

- Act as a core member of a multi-disciplinary team that represents all capabilities within DevSecOps, directly supporting software development and integration activities for the program.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must possess security clearance with a polygraph

Six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Four (4) years of experience in software development on systems utilizing cloud-related technologies.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
