The Director of Learning is responsible for shaping and executing the Learning strategy required to upskill all our 4,000 technology associates in the function. He/she will partner with all relevant stakeholders to drive operational excellence and continuous improvements in this space, contributing to develop associates at all level of the organization giving them best-in class learning user experience and allowing to create the right skillsets in the function to become a future ready organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Enterprise Learning function for JJT and sets the strategic vision

  • Understand the organization strategy and its future capability needs to align learning priorities accordingly and define relevant OKRs and KPIs

  • Manage and develop a team of learning professionals focused on design, delivery and continuous improvement of all Learning related services.

  • Improve overall JJT learner experience by identifying process and system improvements needed to evolve training approach and accuracy of deployment.

  • Own coordinated learning demand plan and management of learning initiatives

  • Accountable for the JJT learning goals delivery to support upskilling of JJT Professionals

  • Partner with HPT program to address the HPT Learning needs

  • Is an active player in the development of the broader JJT Learning & Development Strategy

  • Sustain and evolve the current Learning Frameworks: Learning Challenge, Vendor Partnerships, JnJ Learn for JJT, JJT Learn Council

  • Maintain and review a Learning Roadmap aligned with JJT strategy for use across JJT globally

  • Partner with J&J learn to leverage platform, learning assets and shared services

  • Leverage relevant technology capabilities to provide seamless access to learning resources for all global JJT users

  • Build a tiered learning approach based on job roles aligned to the business and IT strategy which includes development of user skills at the basic, intermediate, and expert level skills on the most relevant technology trends and topics.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to address business gaps related to program and/or talent development needs

  • Establish and manage vendors relationships including assessment of new capabilities, measure current effectiveness and perform all necessary procurement related activities.

  • Work together with all relevant stakeholder to raise the digital literacy of JJT associates and the overall company

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in areas related with learning & development

Experience and Skills:

  • At least of 7 years of related experience in a large complex global organization

  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams

  • Solid experience in developing innovative adult learning capabilities aiming at delivering cutting edge learning methodologies

  • Strong understanding of professional learning standards & best practices

  • Robust leadership and ability to set a strategic vision

  • Ability to deliver in a global, matrixed environment required

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills required

  • Strong teaming and collaboration skills required

  • Applying program management techniques to ensure the timely, high-quality delivery of services is required

  • Demonstrate the ability to influence and present potential improvements in a convincing fashion to a mixed audience, from peers to executives

  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to details

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time when it is safe to do so

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position in the United States is $142,000 -$244,950 USD

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
