DESCRIPTION OF WORK The purpose of this position is to act as a channel of communication to receive and direct compliance and privacy issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution. In this role, you ensure that the leadership team, management, and employees within the agency comply with the rules and regulations of all regulatory agencies, agency policies and procedures, and the standards of conduct.

Additional duties include managing the HIPAA/privacy and healthcare regulations portion of the DMVA compliance program. You complete HIPAA/privacy, compliance, and ethics investigations in accordance with department procedures. You also develop and implement appropriate resolutions, write policy recommendations, create and implement training, and audit program office activities for compliance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days a two-week period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Possession of any of the following certifications: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) certification or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification; and /or Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) certification is preferred, but not required.
