Aerotek 2nd Shift Mig Welder in Anoka, Minnesota

Job Title: Welder

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-2:00am M-Th

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a fast-paced production environment where you will engage in Pulse (MIG) welding on mild steel throughout the day. Utilizing weld fixtures and symbols, you will complete units within set time frames, averaging 2,000-2,500 welds per day. Your role involves loading metal onto fixtures, welding parts of units based on symbols, and passing completed sections along for further processing. Productivity is assessed at the weld cell level, not individually. It's essential to maintain consistent cosmetic quality in all welding tasks.

Work Environment

Manufacturing facility without air conditioning, subject to heat. The role requires bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the day. Attendance is strictly monitored, with more than 4 occurrences in 6 months potentially leading to termination, including any occurrences within the first 30 days.
