We are looking for a 3rd Shift Cabinetry Group Leader. This will be a working leader and will be expected to participate in shipping/order picking activities as well as leading a small 3rd shift team. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). 

The expected offer range is $20.25/hour - $26.00/hour. There is an additional $2 shift premium for 3rd shift. The actual wage will be based on proficiency in English and Spanish, relevant experience, and skills. The Max rate listed is not the top of the wage band.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Organizes, assigns, and supervises the work activities for assigned members. Works primarily on the shop floor continuously and directly interacting with assigned employees to safely complete daily production schedule.
• Coordinates department operations with both customers and suppliers to ensure assigned personnel have the proper information, material, tools and other supplies needed to complete work.
• Assists team to identify and resolve problems interfering with performing assigned work; assists personnel by leading or supporting appropriate troubleshooting efforts.
• Leads discussions ("huddles") with team members to review performance against Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Delivery metrics.
• Performs Plan Do Check Act of key department procedures and standard work. 
• Assists team with identifying, resolving, dispositioning, and investigation of quality and performance problems, (QN's).
• Maintains time/attendance records for direct reports, and ensures that time and attendance will occur in the event of their own absence.
• Recommends and participates in initiatives and efforts to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery of the assigned area and members.
• Provides performance feedback to employees through informal coaching, achievement recognition, and formal performance evaluation. Provides positive feedback to employees on a regular basis.
• Ensures employees receive proper orientation and continuous skills training. Assists employees with interpretation and use of company standards regarding Safety, Quality, TPM, and company policy.
• Seeks resolution of personnel issues and employee relation problems directly, or in consultation with Shift and/or Area Leader.
• Reinforces 5S procedures and ensure daily 5S tasks are completed.
• Assists Shift Leader to identify staffing requirements to meet department production schedules.
• Assists maintenance and assigned employees to troubleshoot machine/equipment problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• The successful candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and will possess a positive attitude and the ability to bring out the same with team members.
• Basic computer skills; SAP knowledge a plus.
• Must be able to deal effectively and respond constructively with all persons.
