Finance Manager - FP&A WinField UnitedWe're hiring a Finance Manager to join Finance team for our Winfield United business unit. In this role you will responsible for leading the FP&A advisory support for the Seed business. FP&A advisory support includes variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, investments, predictive analytics, and other ad hoc analysis required to advise on commercial decisions.This role will be located at our Arden Hills, MN Headquarters (hybrid work arrangement each week).Key Responsibilities:Key advisor to Seed Marketing VP and DirectorsLead FP&A team (1 direct report) to support a fast-paced commercial team focused on driving performance in a changing competitive environment .Drive in-depth business insights and analysis to advise on financial implications of pricing, programs and various initiatives to drive volume and marginSupport Procurement team in purchasing and inventory decisions to balance P&L and Balance Sheet goals and objectivesResponsible for corporate deliverables including monthly variance analysis, forecasts, Annual Business Plan, and cash forecastingFinancial modeling to analyze investment ROI/NPVSpecial projects as neededEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline ; MBA, CMA, or CPA certification desiredMinimum 8 years of progressive finance/accounting experienceLeadership experience strongly preferredExperience in budgeting and forecastingPrevious experience with executive level reporting and communicationsPrior experience with Hyperion Essbase Planning, Power BI, JDE applications, Microsoft Office or other similar systemsUnderstanding of the interconnectivity between the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flowsRequired Competencies:Demonstrate a strong service ethic and ability to partner with senior leaders across the organizationExcellent people leadership abilities both within a reporting structure and cross functionally and experience attracting, developing, and retaining top talentIntellectual curiosity; strive to challenge for continuous learningProblem-solving skills and an ability to perform well in a dynamic environmentAnalytical and quantitative with strong financial analysis skillsCommunication skills, written and verbal, including ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audienceAble to work with and gain insights from various sources of data across the companyProcess oriented including ability to question, streamline, and improve existing processesAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
