Arlington School Kitchen Helper in ARLINGTON, South Dakota
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist with kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, supporting food preparation, and ensuring a seamless workflow. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency in our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, properly stored, and in good working condition.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and recycle materials in accordance with company policies.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the kitchen.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Standing for extended periods.
