Robert Half Cost Accounting Manager in Arlington, Texas

Description We are seeking a Cost Accounting Manager based in Arlington, Texas. This role is critical to our team and involves conducting detailed cost analysis, preparing accurate reports, implementing cost control measures, and supporting strategic decision-making processes with financial insights. This role will be crucial in ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.

Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed analysis of project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses. • Prepare accurate and timely cost reports for management review. • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed. • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project budgets based on cost estimates and revenue projections. • Assist in forecasting financial outcomes and project profitability, considering potential risks and opportunities. • Implement cost control measures to optimize project costs and improve profitability. • Analyze cost-saving initiatives and make recommendations to reduce expenses without compromising quality and safety standards. • Build financial models to evaluate project scenarios and assess financial feasibility. • Support strategic decision-making processes by providing financial insights and recommendations. • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
