Job Summary

This position performs supervisory, technical, and clerical skills to direct the operations of warehouse logistics for Extension and Extended Campus business units. This includes the shipping, ordering/purchasing, assembly management, tracking of inventory and quality control of course materials within the warehouse and to training locations and instructors as well as supervision of warehouse personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze shipping and course reports to construct a schedule for all course materials and instructor documents to be accurately assembled and delivered for necessary business units.

  • Designating and directing the day-to-day activity of warehouse employees as well as evaluate employee performance and ensure appropriate development and training.

  • Manage the ordering of all training materials for all programs by coordinating with multiple vendors, while managing a distribution system for these materials. Must also ensure accuracy and provide reconciled reports.

  • Coordinate with program managers on updates to course materials and assemble new curriculum, as well as assist to determine implementation date.

  • Manage a web based inventory system for all items within required programs.

  • Oversee the communication of accurate and timely course notifications to affiliates and instructors for necessary business units.

  • Performs other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma with four (4) years of experience in receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and equipment, and accounting for property in a storage facility or warehouse unit, including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.

  • Ability to effectively execute oral and written instruction in English.

  • Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years’ experience working with training program course materials and curriculum, preferably transportation and OSHA industries.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to use MS Office.

  • Will make deliveries using a UTA vehicle.

Works in an air-conditioned warehouse environment. May work occasional overtime.
