We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Manager in Arlington, Virginia. The role involves working in the Energy Sector, with the primary responsibility of managing complex procurement processes. This role allows for remote work flexibility. Responsibilities:

• Manage complex procurement processes in the Energy Sector with a particular focus on equipment, commodities, and goods.

• Provide surge support assistance for procurement and contract related tasks.

• Leverage knowledge of Global Procurement and Government Procurement practices to optimize procurement processes.

• Adhere to and apply Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) during procurement processes.

• Manage procurement processes for USAID-sponsored projects (prior experience beneficial but not essential).

• Utilize experience in managing DOD procurement to enhance procurement processes and procedures. For

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field

• Proven expertise in Global Procurement, Government Procurement, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex contracts

• Strong understanding of contract law and its application in the procurement process

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels

• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Proficiency in using contract management software and related tools

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field is preferred.
