Kelly Services Office Equipment Operator in Arlington, Virginia

Job Summary:

Kelly Professional & Industrial is seeking a skilled Office Equipment Operator to join our team at AIR's Washington, DC office location. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production equipment, including printers, copiers, binders, and finishing machines. Your expertise in Xerox production equipment will be crucial in delivering a range of production services to our valued customers. From basic tasks like cutting business cards and bookmarks to assembling intricate proposals, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and high-quality output.

Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Temporary, May 13 th - May 22 nd

  • Company: AIR

  • Location: Washington, DC (1325 G Street NW Ste 900, Washington, DC 20005)

  • Pay Rate: $33.00/hr.

  • Shift: 8:0am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain various production equipment, including printers, copiers, binders, and finishing machines.

  • Ensure equipment is in optimal working condition and perform routine maintenance as needed.

  • Assist with print production tasks, such as printing, copying, scanning, and binding documents.

  • Handle and organize materials, paper stocks, and supplies used in production activities.

  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.

  • Prioritize tasks based on deadlines and customer requirements and communicate effectively with team members to optimize productivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience or a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • Familiarity with producing prints from Xerox Production Fiery equipment is preferred (not required).

  • Effective communicator with the ability to work with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, critical thinking, customer-focused, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
