Description This Financial Analyst role via Robert Half may be a great fit for candidates with excellent communication skills and prior experience in finance. Primary job functions consist of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Major responsibilities

• Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting

• Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team

• Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks

• Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending

• Present and monitor forecasting reports

• Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support

• Keep tabs on monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations, ensuring that business partners handle their resources

• Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

• Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to see the proper execution of plans

• Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

• An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations Requirements - Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

• Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

• Financial analysis & planning (go-to-market experience preferable)

• Deep understanding of financial reporting

• Variance analysis experience

• Experience with financial modeling

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis

• Grant accounting experience preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of budget forecasting

• Adeptness in non-profit fund accounting

• Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

• Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system

• 3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
