Container Research Corporation is a designer and manufacturer of large lightweight containers for the aerospace industry. For 65 years, we have provided our customers with high-quality, and long-lasting solutions for the storage and transportation of high-value assets.
Must have professional experience reading blueprints/shop drawings to be considered for this position.
Proficiencies
- Hand tools -- skills to ensure products are welded correctly and on-time.
- First-piece inspection
- Blueprint reading.
- Clamps
- Tape measures.
- Grinders
Forklift and/or tack welding experience are not required but are pluses.
Requirements
- Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Weld components.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisor.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
