Job responsibilities:  The maintenance worker is responsible for performing center maintenance and repair in electrical, carpentry, plumbing and spot painting.

Essential functions:

• Perform maintenance and repair of structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and drainage systems.

• Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses, etc. as directed

• Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork

• Install window shades or coverings and security locks

• Perform, repair or replacement of plumbing, fixtures, washers, seals, etc.

• Prepare surfaces for finishing, i.e. painting

Education and Experience Requirements:

• HSD/ GED and 4 years experience in various related maintenance disciplines

• Experience with youth

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required

• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
