About the role:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for achieving business targets for Key Accounts within the guidelines for Food Manufacturers in Turkey. This includes developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with key customers and creating account strategies in collaboration with the division's management.

She/He will maintain and grow sales volume while increasing margins within the defined customer base. Acting as the main point of contact within BC for specified customers, the Key Account Manager will take full responsibility for managing and coordinating all business interactions and transactions in a professional manner. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will proactively prospect for new opportunities beyond the existing customer base and act as the customers’ voice within BC to ensure their satisfaction and the continuity of trading relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures.

  • Expand, develop and maintain customer portfolio, new and existing customer relationships and ensure professional customer relationship management.

  • Increase the sales volume of specialty products in order to improve profitability from a product mix point of view.

  • Develop and participate in the maintenance of relationships with strategic customers and distributors.

  • Collaborate with marketing to achieve short and medium term objectives in terms of volume, margin and market share.

  • Actively support the implementation of customer relationship management for existing and new customers in the relevant segments and networks.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with defined key customers. Reach agreement of strategic importance with these key customers who have differing points of view

  • Collaborate constantly and directly with pricing, sourcing, supply chain to achieve short and medium term objectives in terms of volume, margin and market share.

    About You:

  • Bachelor / Master Degree

  • Based in İstanbul

  • 5+ years of experience in a food industry and B2B food Sector

  • Must have a strong English communication skill

  • Proven track record of sales success

  • Preferably specific business understanding of the entire value chain of organizations in the chocolate industry

  • Preferably experience in global corporate account management / B2B channels

  • No travel restrictions
