Kuehne+Nagel National Quality Specialist -Athens in Athens, Greece

We are now are seeking to hire an experienced National Quality Specialist.

Your Role

As a national QSHE specialist, you will implement and maintain our Quality Management System. You will focus on Quality, Safety, Health, Environment and Security. You will develop preventive measures, support the National QSHE Manager in carrying out periodic audits and prepare detailed reports and risk analyses. You will also support the business during external/customer audits.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all QSHE requirements are met in accordance with KN Corporate QSHE policies, QSHE standards and local regulations.

  • Implement, monitor and track QSHE targets and programs on national level and monitor QSHE KPI performance.

  • Support the National QSHE Manager in conducting periodic audits, tracking preventive and corrective actions and their effectiveness.

  • Supporting successful certification and re-certification activities in collaboration with the National QSHE Manager.

  • Identify, communicate, report shortcomings and unsafe situations in the areas of employee health and safety, hazardous substances, areas for improvement in all aspects of QSHE.

  • Creating reports and reporting them to the Site managers and National QSHE Manager, as well as conducting management reviews.

  • Support the business in developing and maintaining Business Continuity Plans.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

  • Experience in the same role.

  • Knowledge of QSHE management systems (ISO standards 9001,14001,45001), AEO, GDP, Regulated Agent, HAACP, prevailing local and international legislation/guidelines & best practice

  • Training will be provided on the company's IMS/quality system and the IT systems that support it. A willingness to learn is therefore an absolute requirement.

  • Fluent in written and spoken Greek.

  • Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English.

  • Computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Office.

  • The ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
