Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is based 100% onsite and involves working in the finance industry, specifically in the accounts payable department. The successful candidate will handle tasks such as account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintaining precise records of customer credit details

• Resolving any customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions for delinquent payments

• Performing full cycle accounts payable duties, requiring minimal experience

• Processing checks and maintaining payable status with vendors

• Ensuring detail accuracy in all data entry tasks

• Utilizing Encompass software for various tasks, no additional software needed

• Coding invoices and performing invoice processing duties

• Using Microsoft Excel for various tasks related to accounts payable and data entry Requirements • Understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Familiarity with Check Runs

• Proficiency in Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Open to candidates with varying years of experience, including those with no previous experience
