Job Description Summary

Atlanta Parts Warehouse Digital Technology Site Leader will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of Digital Technology operations, support and projects on site related to the Atlanta Parts Warehouse. The Leader will partner closely across Digital Technology and business team to ensure business goals are met.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to manage warehouse priorities, issues and translating the demand, through Lean / Kanban principles, to features and functions that need to be delivered across the IT matrix and IT platforms to improve warehouse performance. Including, but not limited to shop floor support, operations technology, ERP, and materials/warehouse mgmt.

  • Lead hands on activities, as needed, to drive process improvement and projects.

  • Owns wing-to-wing execution of technical projects (primarily in or connected to the ERP) to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers. This includes: Partnering with functional product owner to define features backlog and requirements.; Working with technical team internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and of desired quality. ; Making sure project management practices are followed and improved as needed. ; Managing expectations and timelines to keep customers informed, working across teams in a regular way.

  • Ensures business critical information is cascaded to the team in a timely manner.

  • Participate in Lean Action workouts to ensure that physical changes to material flow is represented in the supporting systems and that new capabilities are developed in concert with the Lean transformation.

  • Act as a first line internal customer to ensure that global and local priorities are considered when ‘catching’ products/programs/projects delivered or led by external IT teams

  • As a partner to Application owners, vendors, and Operations leaders, ensure that the tools that ‘run’ the warehouse are effectively supported, including but not limited to: Daily troubleshooting of critical site issues ; Application upgrades, patching and ‘doing’ Release Management and Change Management per ITIL best practices; Leading the definition of standard work and ensuring that teams deliver on the provisioning and operationalization of hardware, IT/OT changes, new 3rd party software.

  • On average, be physically present on site 75% as well as for key events.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or STEM Major, and/or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with experience in the manufacturing field in lieu of degree)

  • 3+ years of relatable work experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Possess a passion for supply chain and manufacturing that demonstrably makes tangible improvements in operations technology and software to drive automation of manufacturing methods

  • Able to bridge and converge Information Technology with Operations Technology

  • Prior experience in at least one software engineering discipline is mandatory.

  • Basic knowledge of networking technologies and topologies as well as information security

  • Prior ERP experience (either SAP and/or Oracle)

  • Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

  • Experience working with others on a global basis

  • Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others

  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives

  • Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans

  • Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

  • PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $102,200.00 - 136,200.00 USD annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.

This position is also eligible for a 10% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 5/16/2024.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
