Your Impactful Role

The Clinical Operations Manager will lead and manage the operations of the clinical department resulting in excellent patient/client relations, compliant medical records, efficient and customer service oriented administrative support

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily operations of each department and facilities resulting in a quick and effective response and resolution as issues occur.

  • Select, schedule, assign, and evaluate staff, adjust hours, and shifts as necessary.

  • Manage the responsibilities of POC facility needs ensuring that all sites and issues are maintained and resolved promptly.

  • Manage the timely and accurate reconciliation of facility invoices.

  • Serve as a member of the Clinical Team by submitting recommendations to improve operation efficiency and expense management.

  • Coordinate with the Administrative Assistant and Front Desk manager to provide support effectively and efficiently for staff and provide patients with great customer service.

  • Efficiently manage all payroll activities for the clinical department resulting in accurate and cost-effective payroll.

  • Select, assign, train and evaluate subordinates and recommends or initiates associated human resources actions resulting in engaged and well-informed employees.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 65 employees in the Clinical Department.

  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in a related area.

  • 3 years of medical office operations experience within a multi-unit medical facilities practice.

  • Knowledgeable in orthopedic terminology, basic billing functions, basic clinical functions, administrative practices, operational systems, and procedures in medical setting.

  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel Processing, Athena (EMR), and Oberd-patient satisfaction program.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Must be certified with at least one of following certifications: Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Registered Orthopedic Technologist (ROT), Orthopedic Technologist Certified (OTC), Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • Current Georgia license

  • American Heart Association's Certification - BLS Certified

The employee frequently is required to move all extremities within a full range of motion, as well as stoop and bend at 90 degrees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
